i must say elbow pads are very annoying when doing wrestling with them they fall down and get in the way Buy some proper elbow pads then! Proper pads, i.e AMA pads like I (and Randy Orton) wear are the best, they are very flexible, comfortable and dont fall down!

they make ur arms small if u dont go to the gym, i think thats wat u were trying to say. for me, i will where gloves or tape my hand and forearm up because i think elbow pads are uncomfy and its more hardcore No, I meant they make your arms look smaller. It makes your elbows bigger, and so by contrast, your muscles look smaller.

I went a whole year of training without any pads whatsoever. Still don't wear elbowpads. I have dark patches of skin on my elbows though from frequent bumping

The ring at out gym is soft and shouldn't really cause that much damage to your elbows. Kier said it correctly. Elbow pads make your arms seem really small, therefor looking quite weak. Having massive elbows doesn't look good for wrestlers, as they would like to show off some muscle. But if you are bothered about protecting yourself then get them. Knee pads are quite important. You never know when you'll be expected to do waist lock take downs. I can't count the number of times my knees have been bruised and in pain from forgeting my knee pads

What does it matter how small elbowpads make your arms look unless you're actually on a show?

Yes, but if you get used to wearing pads in training, and then you're on a show it'd be a shock. From what I've heard the ring is quite hard for FSW shows
