[glow=red,2,300]AGE:[/glow]You must be 14 or over to attend training.
[glow=red,2,300]WEIGHT:[/glow]Dude’s it doesn’t matter how light or heavy you are. If you can get out of bed then you can get in the ring so don’t let your weight be considered an issue because it isn’t.
[glow=red,2,300]HEIGHT:[/glow]So long as you can climb into the ring it doesn’t matter if you’re 3 foot or 10 foot.
[glow=red,2,300]FITNESS:[/glow]Your not training for the Olympics so don’t think you have to be super fit to step into the ring. Your fitness will gradually improve the more you train. So even if you’ve never stepped foot in a gym in your life you can still step in to the ring.
[glow=red,2,300]WRESTLING STYLE:[/glow]No matter which style you want to learn my advice is to learn it all. You may step into the ring with one particular style in mind but trust me I think majority step out the ring with a whole new style in mind. However if you can learn the style of all that way you can be compatible with just about any other wrestler and you’ll have a more wide spread knowledge.
[glow=red,2,300]TRAINING ATTIRE:[/glow]What you feel comfortable wearing so long as you can move freely. Trainers, shorts, T-shirt, jogging pants, and if ladies wish a sport’s bra (there is a lot of running involved ). If you can try and purchase elbow and knee pads. My advice though is to come to a couple of sessions first and see if it’s something you want to pursue. Other than clothes you may also want to think about bring something to drink as well. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can dehydrate especially in hot weather. I wouldn’t recommend eating during training however a snack for afterwards may be in order.
[glow=red,2,300]TRAINING TIMES:[/glow]SATURDAY 1230HRS – 1600HRS
SUNDAY 1630HRS – 1930HRS
[glow=red,2,300]LOCATION:[/glow]Salah's Martials Arts Centre
217 Ashton Old Road
Beswick
Manchester
Next door to the Seven Stars pub
[glow=red,2,300]DIRECTIONS:[/glow]If you get off the train at Piccadilly train station then follow the exits to Fairfield Street. When you come out the exit and your stood on the main road turn left and start walking straight up. The walk will take about 15 minutes and you’ll eventually walk past the Seven Stars pub, we're in the big building next to that. If you don't fancy the walk then wait at the bus stop outside the taxi rank for the 219 bus and get off at the 3rd stop just before the D C Cook bridge.
Hopefully that covers all the questions that have been repeatedly asked on the previous forum and save everyone a lot of time. However if there are still things you are unsure of then just post and everyone will only be to pleased to help you out. Hopefully we’ll see you all at the school in the near future.
