i recently had a argument about the violence of wrestling and the influence it has on people, of course its gonna be biased since this is a forum of wrestling fans but what do you think.

I was a very violent kid. I loved watching wrestling when I was a kid. But they were in no serious way related.

im not a violent person at all but i used to always play fight with cousins etc.

Well i Have Watched Wrestling since the Age of 4 (im 18 in feb) and i don't thing it had a violent effect on me, but yea i did used to Play fight

Meh, I saw more violence between my parents than I did on a telvision screen. But wrestling's violent. Just as violent as boxing is. In the end it's two plus people hurting one another.

I recommend you people read Mick Foley's account about violence in wrestling in his second book and how he compares it with the violence seen in the so-called 'family favourite' 'Home Alone' movie. Very interesting stuff.

Can't really see wrestling without violence. They stick age ratings on the stuff. If you don't want your kids watching it don't buy it.......though that didn't stop me
