Another year over... In the last year, as Moose pointed out, I've completed the change I started at the end of last and gone from bringing the most submissions and matwork and technical stuff to the guy you'd all least expect to see use any chain wrestling in his matches. Who knows maybe this time next year I'll be taking less bumps in training than Dom. Yeah... But that aside, I haven't really done an awful lot. My only contribution to FSW shows has been getting kicked out the building but I'd sooner Moose get 20 seconds on a show than get 20 minutes for myself. No real specific highlights stick out. The top rope headbutt to the floor was cool last week and should pave the way for more bumps on the floor . If I have a stand-out match it's probably, unfortunately, the match with Jamie. Unfortunate because I was the face and I both f**king hate wrestling face and just can't work face. I'll be the last person in our gym to elicit any kind of sympathy out of anyone. Hopefully 2006 is a better year for wrestling for me. With more and more trainees developing to what I guess you'd call a "show-ready" level, we should be looking for more matches, more ad-libbing, and less "meh"-ness most of the time. I'm hoping to see the (proper) show debuts of a few people in the not-too-distant part of the year. As for me, fingers-crossed I'm still alive to write this poop twelve months from now. Just kiddin... .

I was just reminded of the best bit of this year for me. Alex telling me that I have the credentials to become a wrestler.
And Damon teaching me hoew to sunset flip, despite me nearly squashing Egan in the process.

Well now, the year 2005 has been a lot of fun for ol' sparky, with myself personally having a blast at every single training session. The key goal that I wish to improve on right now is to be learn to call a lot more in the ring and ad-lib, instead of too much planning, and to my developing characters, with all of the comedy spots being original and inventive.
In terms of matches, whilst I don't feel I've had a great match yet (which i'm striving and working for) I feel that I have put in good efforts with Jamal, who I have learnt so much off, the S.A.S who just good ol' fun to work with, and Luke, who I really respect due to how willing he was to bump even in a training tag match with me. I'd love for a singles match with him. And matches with Jaime and Twissie earlier in the year were fun, but I would love to do new ones with them with my new character.
Goals for 2006: *Continue developing my moveset *Work matches with everyone (Jesse, Phfil, Egan, Big Sam,Jaqk Moose.. I havent had the chance but I would love to wrestle you guys) *To try and help the newer guys anyway I can *To continue to have fun with everyone, especially with the Jesster.
Wow, sorry for the rant, but i'm Internet defficient for a while now. Have a good xmas and a bright 2006!

In terms of FSW... 2005 highlights- the summer, when I actually managed to get to training on a regular basis! The never ending series of matches with Jamal, that all seemed to end with me getting kicked in the face... Bumping for Johnny's Axehandle... Slipping off the ropes practicing a stupid knuckle-lock spot that I will never, ever use... Going on the bumpercars in Morecambe with the FWA guys... So many other things too...
2006 goals- Get to the gym as often as possible and see how much everyone has improved... Show off all my new stuff, including some Ong-Bak~ inspired goodness... Actually see some of the Sunday guys who I haven't seen since like Easter...

-Watching guys like Jack Domino and Luke Gree..Agenda solidify their places as the UKs next generation of wrestlers without becoming too bitter........*cough* *Ahem* Excuse me? Is there something missing from that sentence. I was using examples but I added you in anyway Si Dom doesn't really count because he was already at multi show level last year

i know i didn't show up on a regular basis for most of this year but i started in February so i think i can recap a little
im proud of being able to start real wrestling and completely stop backyarding altogether really enjoying watching other peoples matches and genuinely watching and learning from others have to say that Jamie V Shane ECW rules was my favourite to watch not sure of my favourite match to be in but it would probably be Prime Vs the jungle express
goals-- -gain confidence -gain more size (i'm on the protein shakes now) -learn decent moves -become bookable -get onto the top rope
overall good first year, only gonna get better
