Although I wasn't fortunate enough to meet Eddie, my dad took me to that same show that in Sheffield, and I couldn't wait to see Eddie perform. Even my dad, who doesn't care that much about wrestling, would always come and watch whenever he was on the TV and he found his antics hilarious. I remember just having a great time and when he gave a great promo at the end of the show saying how he was wrestling in a "golden age" it was just great to share that memory with my dad. Eddie is one of my all time heroes, (alongside Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho) and is possibly the main influence in my wrestling style, especially in terms of me trying to come up with comedy spots to use, and having great passion, intensity and character.
R.I.P Eddie - I'll never forget you, you were a real hero to me.

Eddie was one of my favourite Superstars. I've seen him live a couple of times and I will really miss him. RIP Eddie
