At this time, training times are unaffected. Stop over reacting, and make use of the "silly rumours thread".
As for gettin there, directions have been provided, and the journey from piccadilyl to the new gym takes 20 minutes, tops. Becuase someone is stupid enough to assume that the train station 0.4 miles away os the the only "reasonable" station to use is rediculous, theres a direct train link form piccadilly to failsworth station that is a few miuntes walk from the gym.

My theory is, we should do 'meeting up' at Picadilly on Sunday and work out how to get there. Unless I can get a lift.

Something i think we should do (not meaning to moan or suggest that i have any substantial le-way in making the decisions) is reduce the general price of training for the trainee's...i say this as it will cost everyone more transport money to get to the new gym...which is harsh, especially for the people already paying a lot....and seen as though this new gym is costing less in rent, then surely it wouldn't come as any financial loss to FSW. Just a thought.

Dave, Failsworth wasn't mentioned at all on the "next train to" boards from Picadilly on Sunday... just saying.

Yup Failsworth was nowhere to be seen on the Picadilly board. I thought Neil was a very smart man to notice Dean Lane station was muchmuchmuch closer to the new gym than Failsworth station......but 45 minutes on the metrolink? Tell the truth Neil. Did you get on the wrong tram? Yeah my Mancunian directions are terrible for certain things so we were looking at the maps to figure out where the bus station was(which i've never needed to use before so naturally haven't a clue where to look). The tram I was on took 5-7 minutes. Walking realistically takes 10-12 minutes for someone who knows exactly where they're going and doesn't get remotely tired in the warm up

Also, I live less than 20 miles away from the new gym and the earliest I can possibly get there via public transport is 10:30ish. 10 may just be a little optimistic oh powers that be

I agree with Luke, in fact we discussed it in grrrrreat detal on the bus back to piccs (which in my opinion is quicker).

Well From Picadilly to victoria takes around 4 minutes then you make you way to platform 2 (was 2 on both days i went) then you catch a train that says "SHAW" on it check the route and it should say ''Failsworth'' don't get off at dean lane get off at Failsworth as that is the place walk down the stairs and turn left following the road round to a crossing point, then you turn right and walk straight down until you see Texaco (not Tesco ) and look to your right and you should see a "Mac's Gym" poster high on a building. And there you have the new FWA: MF gym.
