Looking at the films to be released in the next year and there were a few that caught my eye.
The obvious sequels are there. Saw 3, Fast and Furious 3 etc.
But X-Men 3 will happen in 2006, which is promising, as the first two were solid films. V For Vendetta is scheduled for next March, well worth a watch.
However, the one I'm most looking forward to is Walk The Line. The movie of Johnny Cash's life. It sounds very promising, and as a Cash fanboy I'm excited about this.
Also Superman Returns is scheduled for summer. Interesting, as this is revamping the whole look of the Superman films. I'm not a huge Supes fan, but I'll go and watch it.
(Saw Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire yesterday. Not bad if you're a Potter fan.)

i cant wait for X men 3. the second one was much better than the first (quite a rarity for sequels) and so i have high hopes.
Walk the line is supposedly very good, but take any critics opinion with a grain of salt. I personally am not going to see it, but i hope you enjoy it Jesster

Meh, Venom's always been an overrated character, I was happy once I'd seen Doc Ock (First villain to ever beat Spider-Man). I keep hearing that Venom's his arch-enemy, but that's usually from idiots who've only watched the cartoons on Fox Kids.

V for Vendetta will get absolutely butchered when they make a film of it... but it's the Wachowskis doing the butchering, so at least it should be stylish with some nice FX....
Ong-Bak is awesome. Tony Jaa is awesome. Elbow strikes are awesome. Knee strikes are awesome. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to set fire to my trousers.

Spider-Man 3 Raimi is only going to get better, and with Sandman and Venom on board - as well as Doc Connors and Green/HobGoblin in the mix, my pants get smaller thinking about it. Besides, Id say Spidey's true arch nemesis is GG, something which really wasn't pulled off to great effect in the first.
Superman Returns Donnar's original was amazing, one of my favourite films ever. Singer has said that he's brought the humanity back to Supes, and made him a more believable character ala Superman 1 and 2. He's using the old theme song, had John Ottman from XMen composing the rest, and the teaser trasiler just released is awesome. Perhaps, too awesome.
Rocky 6 / Rambo 4 I'm goign to love these, although I'm pissed I bought a Rocky Anthology only for the bar steward to release another. Anyone hear the original premise of Rambo4? - Stallone going into Iraq to kill Bin Laden!
X Men 3 No Gambit! Which was a huge dissapointment, but Beast and Archangel are rather good characters in their own right. I'm interested to see how Ratner deals with taking over Singer's extremely innovative franchise.
V for Vendetta Aeon Flux I don't know too much about these films, only that they both revolve around revolution in a not too distant future. Maybe the Wachowski bros. can redeem themselves after the seemingly lackluster Revolutions? Hugo Weaving, Natalie Portman and Stephen Fry, yes please! Plus Aeon Flux has Charlize Theoron, mmm tasty.
Ghost Rider Can't believe nobody mentioned this! Mr Superman Nic Cage as Johnny Blaze! Mark Steven Johnson, who'd said he might do another Daredevil after this! Excitement!
Walk the Line That Jaq Phoenix dude playing the best role since Jamie Foxx's Ray! Apparently, the film is awesome, and as a lifelong fan, I'm going to cream myself watching it. I wonder how he'll look?
Plus, we might get Punisher 2 at the end of next year!

Anyone who enjoys graphic novels/comic books should try to read V before the film comes out. It's by Alan Moore of Watchmen and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen fame. (All of which are awesome, despite the LXG film) V is set in a post- nuclear war dystopia where a fascist party has come to power, and is basically about a "terrorist" who tries to bring them down. It's WAY cooler than I just made it sound, and they're either gonna have to completely re-work it so that they don't seem to be condoning the "terrorism," or the Daily Mail is gonna have them hung drawn and quartered...

I don't care what anyone says, Venom kicks ass, but not as much as Vulture and the cartoon is pretty good (for a cartoon), and the alien suit film is awesome i wouldnt mind seeing a deadpool film though, or at least an appearance in the next x-men film, still can't believe Vinnie Jones is going to be Juggernaut, but i guess they did need somebody British

If you look on iMdB, an A-Team movie is scheduled for 2006. That will rule. However, based on films confirmed for 2006, X-Men 3 will kick ass. I think Spidey 3 will be a bit on the awful side as in both films, Peter Parker seems to go through doubt, and I think this film will capitalize that. Rocky 6 will steal the show. No doubt. Ooooh, a Ghost Rider film with Nicholas Cage? Fun!
